Kakaako Hawaii Condos

In February 2007, the first Kakaako condominium project was completed in the developing Honolulu neighborhood.  Coupled with the new developments of family-friendly Kakaako Waterfront Park and the Victoria Ward Center offering over 200,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space, the neighborhood has experienced consistent growth leading experts to recognize Kakaako as the fastest growing neighborhood in Honolulu.   Industrial buildings and retailers occupy much of the area as of now; however progress continues to build with the hard work of the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA). 

Caught up in the Kakaako neighborhood boom, projects such as the University of Hawaii John Burns Medical Center and mixed-use buildings featuring retail and restaurant space along with affordable Kaakako condos have already broke ground.   Development of Kakaako comes as no surprise with its central location and easy access to the ocean for relaxing, the Neal Blaisdell Center for Hawaii's major concerts, the Ward 16 Theatres for entertainment, Sensei's for their world renowned sushi, and the Victoria Ward Center for some of the city's best shopping.
